Occupantis is a strategy builder game focused around growing a planet and keeping it alive with sustainable energy. As a player you need to grow the planet so you gain more resources as well as inhabitants. By doing so you can fill the planets laser with sustainable energy and make a chance to protect Occupantis from the gigantic meteor. This game was made in a team of 3 as part of a project about sustainability. The goal of the project was to inform players about the gains of sustainable energy.

I took care of all the programming and developing such as those important tasks:

  • Programmed the UI and mouse controls
  • Building placement
  • Turn based system
  • Resource calculations each turn and making the values tweakable for the game designer
