Fibr: AI Fabric Scanning and PBR Generation
Fibr is a streamlined fabric digitization tool for fashion brands and digital studios. By processing just two photos, a standard shot and a flash shot, it generates a complete and seamlessly tileable PBR material. These assets are ready for immediate use in CLO3D and other virtual fashion pipelines without the need for specialized hardware.

The Problem
Professional fabric digitization usually requires dedicated PBR scanners that cost tens of thousands of euros, placing high-quality assets out of reach for most studios. Fibr provides an accessible alternative by allowing users to capture any fabric with a regular camera and receive production-quality PBR sets in seconds.
What It Does
The workflow is simple: upload a normal and a flash photo of a fabric. Fibr automatically generates all necessary PBR maps. Users can then review their results under realistic HDRI lighting in an integrated Three.js viewer before exporting. Seamless tiling is partially implemented, the foundation is in place but still being refined.

Behind the Project
Fibr is a proof-of-concept currently in active development. I started it as a way to dive deeper into Three.js and push my work further into AI and web, a side-project that lets me learn by building something real. The digital fashion angle turned into an interesting problem space along the way, and now I am curious to see how far it can go.
